Drawing in Curses
Ok so this is the one Im most proud of; and not just because its the one with the most swears. This is a portrait of my personal hero, Brian Warner, better known as Marilyn Manson. The intereasting thing about it though, is that it is made with nothing but words from his songs. or at least the ones I know by heart. To do it, I first copied the drawing from another picture. Then I put lyrics on the lines from the songs I had on album and erased the lines once done. Then I painted the few parts that deserved to be painted. And finally I managed to get it censored by the authorities, a fact i am most proud of.
My Failure
This one on the other hand Im not so proud of; its supposed to be Joey jordisson for crying out loud! Besides, 'bout half way out there I suffered some kind of emotional breakdown and drew large black X's on various parts of the work (to add a finishing touch I knifed the canvass in my room the next day). To do this I first drew some squares on the and then drew some more squares on a real picture to know where to draw the stuff in the right place. Then I penciled it out and painted on top. The only problem with this all too easy sounding process is that I actually was forced to keep painting new layers on top of old ones to make up for the works' overall crapiness. and that's that.
